If you just can't stand the heavier and bulkier smartphones then this device might be exactly what you're looking for. Measuring in at 111 x 59 x 11.5 mm (4.37" x 2.32" x 0.45") and weighing 95 grams (3.35 oz), the SGH-i320 is one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones on the market. Despite its size and weight it features a full QWERTY thumb keyboard, which may come as a relief to those of you that just can't function without one.

The SGH-i320 has a 2.2 inch TFT QVGA screen. It has a 320x240 pixel resolution and can display over 65,000 colors. It primarily uses a landscape view which makes text and web browsing a much more pleasant experience. The SGH-i320 has a 1.3 Megapixel camera with built-in flash and 2x digital zoom which allows for both image and video capture. You can record and playback video in H.263 and MPEG4 formats.

The SGH-i320 comes with 120 MB of built in flash memory, but can be expanded through the use of its microSD card slot. It runs on Tri Band GSM frequencies and can transmit data across GPRS and EDGE networks. Its battery life is rated as having a talk time of up to 3.3 hours and a standby by time of 140 hours. This device has a large amount of connectivity features, so you’ll never be stuck without access to your PC, other devices or networks. The SGH-i320 comes with native Bluetooth (with HSP, HFP, DUN, OPP, A2DP and AVRC profiles), and USB support, as well as an infrared port. It also has a microSD slot.

The SGH-i320, through the use of its built in Window's Mobile Media Player can playback various audio types, including MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, and OGG files. As the SGH-i320 is a Windows Mobile 5.0 powered smartphone, it comes with a full suite of productivity software. You can edit, create and view all of the popular Office document types including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF (view only) files. It also has full email capabilities including Outlook synchronization and Microsoft Push Email technology. It supports POP3 and IMAP4 HTML based email clients. The SGH-i320 also has the ability to open attachments with one click. It supports basic SMS and MMS mobile messaging, and it also fully supports various instant messaging clients including MSN Messenger.

The SGH-i320 has a whole host of basic and advanced PIM (Personal Information Management) features. All of the basics are there such as calendar, address book and scheduler and all of them are only limited by your amount of memory. There are also voice features such as hands free voice dialing and voice memos and messages, so you don’t have to type if you don’t want to.
